The North Myrtle Beach High School Chiefs football team opened its 2026 season on Friday, Aug. 21, with a 31-7 victory over the visiting Socastee Braves.

The contest took place at "The Hank" in North Myrtle Beach, marking the return of Head Coach Perry Woolbright to the Chiefs' sidelines. North Myrtle Beach established early control in the season opener to secure the home win.
