Email corrections@barefootresort.app for corrections, story tips, questions about the bridge data, or privacy requests.

For anything urgent about the bridge itself, contact the bridge tender on VHF channel 9 or 843-361-3291. For emergencies, call 911.

When we get a factual detail wrong, we fix the story and note what changed and when. We don't quietly rewrite the record. If a story was based on a source that has since been corrected or withdrawn, we update ours and say so.

If a bridge reading was clearly wrong — the app said no opening was expected and the bridge swung — tell us the date and time. Those reports are how the detection rules get better.

Council items, road work, closures, openings, waterway changes, community notices: all welcome. A link to a public source, an agenda, or a photograph helps us verify it faster. We check tips before publishing anything.

The Barefoot Resort App is an independent local project based in North Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. It is not operated by Barefoot Resort's owners' associations or management companies, and it is not a government service.
