Clearwater Bay HOA Updates Community Rules and Enforcement Rules

The Board of Directors for The Clearwater Bay Condominium Association has updated and republished its official Rules, Regulations & Guidelines for the 189-unit community located at Barefoot Resort. Under the refreshed policy, the board will publish and distribute the rules to all owners twice each year to ensure residents, guests, and tenants remain fully informed of community standards.

Effective immediately, the bi-annual publication serves as official formal notice of all association regulations. The board noted that future violations may now trigger direct enforcement action—including monetary fines, suspension of common area and amenity access, or reimbursement assessments—without the issuance of a prior courtesy warning. Owners who rent their units are explicitly required to post a copy of the updated rules in a conspicuous location inside the home.

The guidelines cover various day-to-day requirements across the property. New owners receive two amenity cards for access to the community pool, clubhouse, North Tower Pool, and Barefoot Beach Cabana. Renters are restricted to limited-access cards and cannot use the beach cabana. Property owners using the Barefoot Resort parking lots must display valid parking decals permanently affixed to their vehicles, and golf carts must be stored inside a garage overnight rather than left outside.
