City Previously Announced Registration for Smoky Mountains Bus Tour

Earlier this summer, the City of North Myrtle Beach Parks and Recreation department announced registration details for an upcoming group motorcoach trip to Pigeon Forge, Tennessee, and the Great Smoky Mountains. The multi-day excursion was planned as a seasonal "Daycation" getaway organized through the city's community travel offerings.

Registration for the tour opened in July 2026, offering residents and local travelers an organized travel package featuring roundtrip motorcoach transit, three nights of hotel accommodations at The Inn on the River, and a structured itinerary of holiday-themed entertainment and sightseeing.

The scheduled four-day itinerary features visits to local attractions in Pigeon Forge, including shopping at the Incredible Christmas Place and The Island, along with guided touring in Great Smoky Mountains National Park. The trip package also covers tickets to several popular regional holiday performances, such as the Array Variety Show, the Country Tonite Christmas Celebration, and Dolly Parton’s Christmas Stampede.

Package details provided by the city include three hotel breakfasts, two lunches, three dinners, full travel arrangements, and all standard taxes. The city noted that driver and guide gratuities were not included, and meals were arranged in advance without guaranteed special dietary accommodations. Bus seating was arranged to maximize capacity, with double-occupancy guests seated together and single travelers paired as needed.

Because registration opened in July, available seats on the motorcoach may be limited or fully booked.
