North Myrtle Beach Announces October Silent Sing-Along Event at McLean Park

The City of North Myrtle Beach Parks and Recreation Department recently released details regarding an upcoming outdoor movie experience, the Silent Sing-Along, scheduled for this fall at McLean Park. The announcement, issued on July 29, 2026, outlines plans for a unique community movie night where participants use specialized headphones to listen and sing along.

The event is set for Friday, October 9, 2026, starting at 7:00 PM at McLean Park, located at 93 Oak Drive in North Myrtle Beach. Designed as a silent headphone screening, the format allows attendees to sing along to the PG-rated featured film under the stars without causing noise disruptions to surrounding neighborhoods or fellow park visitors.

Because space at the park venue is limited, the Silent Sing-Along is a ticketed gathering open to all ages. Admission is $12 per person. Each purchased ticket includes the use of wireless headphones and a provided chair for the screening, along with a popcorn and one free custom soda creation from the Parks and Recreation Soda Shop. Anyone requiring a dedicated chair and set of headphones must have a ticket.

Passes for the event will officially go on sale starting Monday, August 17, 2026, and will remain available until sold out. Area residents and visitors planning to attend should secure tickets early through the city's online portal due to limited seating capacity.
