On July 29, 2026, the City of North Myrtle Beach released details for the upcoming Halloween BOOnanza, a seasonal community celebration organized by the North Myrtle Beach Parks and Recreation Department in collaboration with Coastal Carolina University’s Leadership class.
The festive event is scheduled for Saturday, October 24, 2026, running from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. The city will convert the soccer and lacrosse complex at the North Myrtle Beach Park and Sports Complex into a Halloween venue. The park is located at 150 Citizens Circle in Little River, South Carolina.
Designed as an inclusive fall activity for local families and visitors, the event is open to children of all ages, provided they are accompanied by a parent or guardian. Organizers invite attendees to arrive dressed in their best Halloween costumes and bring goodie bags to collect tricks and treats. Planned evening activities include a Monster Mash DJ, marshmallow roasting, interactive games, and inflatables.
Admission fees are set at $5 for adults and children ages 3 and up, while children ages 2 and under are admitted free. Gate admission is strictly cash only, and entry fees do not cover concessions, which will be sold separately on site.
