Dagwoods in North Myrtle Beach opened in March 2022 at 4200 Hwy 17 S. Owned by Jonathon (Jon) Staton, the restaurant traces its lineage back to a brand founded in 1988 on Mr. Joe White Avenue in Myrtle Beach. Staton bought the business in 1998, added Bumstead's Pub in 2003, opened a Surfside Beach location in 2006, and launched the North Myrtle Beach site in 2022. Named after the Blondie comic strip character, the venue operates as a sports bar, sandwich shop, deli, pub, and restaurant.
