Three Injured in Multi-Vehicle Crash on Highway 31

Three people sustained injuries following a multi-vehicle traffic collision along Highway 31 in Horry County on Tuesday evening, August 4, 2026. Emergency personnel responded quickly to manage the scene, treat the involved individuals, and restore traffic flow along the busy Grand Strand corridor.

Units from Horry County Fire Rescue were dispatched shortly before 7:20 p.m. to the scene of the crash, which occurred near the Robert Grissom Parkway junction. Responders determined that three vehicles were involved in the incident, including one motorcycle.

Emergency Medical Services personnel evaluated those involved at the scene and transported three individuals to a local hospital for further medical evaluation. Two of the individuals involved signed medical transport waivers during the emergency response.
