North Myrtle Beach to Host Free Wreath Making Workshop in December

The City of North Myrtle Beach Parks and Recreation Department will host a free Wreath Making Workshop on Thursday, December 3, 2026. The afternoon session offers residents and holiday visitors a hands-on opportunity to craft a custom Christmas wreath for their home using fresh greenery.

The drop-in workshop will take place from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. in the outdoor courtyard at the J Bryan Floyd Community Center, located at 1030 Possum Trot Road in North Myrtle Beach. Because it is structured as a drop-in activity, open to the public without a strict arrival time, participants can stop by anytime during the scheduled three-hour window.

The Parks and Recreation Department will supply the live greenery free of charge. Attendees are asked to bring their own straw wreath form as the base, along with any personal decorations, accents, or themed items they wish to incorporate into their design.

For those who want extra embellishments, Parks and Recreation staff will have assorted wreath decor and ribbon available for purchase on site for $1.00 per item. Cash is required for any ribbon or decor purchases made at the courtyard.

This free workshop is part of the city's seasonal holiday programming leading up to Christmas in North Myrtle Beach. It provides a budget-friendly way for local families, seniors, and hobbyists to create personalized holiday decor while enjoying an outdoor community setting.
