North Myrtle Beach Presented Annual All City Choir Cantata Earlier This Summer

Earlier this summer, the City of North Myrtle Beach presented its annual Fourth of July Cantata, titled "Peace & Freedom," featuring the All City Choir. The collaborative musical event took place on Saturday, June 27, 2026, at First Baptist Church, located at 200 Highway 17 South in North Myrtle Beach.

The program brought together vocalists from church choirs throughout the North Myrtle Beach area to form a single, unified choir for the patriotic celebration. Sponsored directly by the City of North Myrtle Beach, the event served as a major seasonal gathering for local church members, music lovers, and residents looking to celebrate the Independence Day holiday weekend through music.

To accommodate audience interest, two separate performances were scheduled during the day, with an afternoon show at 3:30 p.m. and an evening show at 6:30 p.m. Admission to the venue was free to the public, though general admission tickets were required to secure a seat inside the sanctuary. Free tickets were distributed in advance starting on June 15, 2026, and were available for pickup at North Myrtle Beach City Hall and the J. Bryan Floyd Community Center.
