North Myrtle Beach Christmas Parade Scheduled for December 5

The City of North Myrtle Beach will host its annual nighttime Christmas Parade on Saturday, December 5, 2026. The festive evening event brings together residents, local organizations, and visitors to celebrate the holiday season along the city's main corridors.

The parade features a lineup of lighted floats and decorated vehicles representing community groups, local businesses, and regional organizations from across the Grand Strand. All parade entries will be judged during the procession, with awards presented to the best displays. Judges and a special guest announcer will be stationed at the intersection of Oak Drive North and Main Street to evaluate the floats and introduce participants to the crowd.

The procession is scheduled to begin at 5:30 p.m. at 2nd Avenue North and Ocean Boulevard. From there, the parade will travel south along Ocean Boulevard until reaching Main Street. It will then turn right onto Main Street, continuing inland to Ye Olde Kings Highway, where it will turn right to conclude the route.

Spectators planning to attend should anticipate traffic disruptions and road closures along Ocean Boulevard and Main Street leading up to and during the event. Arriving early is recommended to secure viewing spots and navigate parking in the surrounding downtown area.
